So, I’ve been thinking about getting a small sewing machine to use as a “back-up”, you know, when I take my big one in for service… or because I’m too lazy to move one project to work on another.
Well, today I finally bought one. For $12. Yep, you read that right. It was on clearance at Michaels. So I figured I’d give it a try, because why not?
So of course when I got home I had to set it up and give it a go. I must say, I’m pleasantly surprised at how nicely it stitches. This little girl (because it’s purple and pink) has some power! I’ve had other small machines in the past and my main complaint would have to be the bouncing of the machine when sewing. But this little one? Perfectly stable.
I ran her through most of the 10 stitches that she offers. Stitches beautifully! And right out of the box. Another thing I like is the drop in bobbin. No messing with a bobbin holder and tension.
What a great little machine!
It is so cute and for $12 you can’t go wrong.
