So last time I was a bit annoyed with myself that I hadn’t finished my pumpkin project yet. Let me remind you where I was as…
Well, I’m happt to say that I did finish this one (within a few days of the last post actually). So here is the finished stitching…
Very happy to be finished with this one, and will update this post whenever I get this framed so that the true finished project can be seen. **Update***
Once I finished this project, of course I had to move on to the next. This time I decided to actually finish a UFO. I moved about 2 years ago and this project had been started prior to that, and never finished after. So this is what it looked like when I uneathed it from the cross-stitch project collection….
This sweet little horse image was supposed to be for my mom. She loves all things country, horses, cowboys, old barns, westerns, you name it. So I got this crazy idea to try to get it finished and framed in time to give it to her for Christmas. This is where I’m at as of today…
All that is really left to do is the background. Which is a ton of half stitches, so it goes quickly, but a bit awkwardly. It’s not like a full stitch where when you get to the end of the row, you double back on yourself and know where the next row starts. With half stitches you have to have a plan of attach. You have to know where you are headed before you get there. Then of course, there is a ton of backstitching in this one.
So this is where I’m at as of today, I hope you’ve enjoyed my update, and I hope you take a few minutes to check out where everyone else in the group is at as well. Remember this is a stitch a long, but everyone is doing something different and it’s fun to see all the different projects!
Here are the links to everyone else in the group, I hope you check them out, and as always Happy Stitching!

Wow! You’ve done well to have a finish so quickly. It looks so realistic 🙂 Let’s hope you can get the horses done for Christmas. What a lovely gift that would make.
