Book Review #13

Lucky #13…

Mr. Gaiman is one of my all time favorite authors. So when I saw that he was publishing a collection of Norse Mythology, I had to have a copy. No brainer.

Obviously, this is not the same as what one would be used to from one of Gaiman’s books. It is a retelling of the classic myths that have been passed down and retold by many.

Of course, Gaiman adds his voice to the mix and creates a magical world that you can almost believe really existed. All the well known players are there, and even some of the lesser known Norse gods make an appearance.

This is not the book for you if you are looking for another American Gods, or Trigger Warnings. It is however, a very well wriyten retelling of classic norse myths, that you would be hard pressed to find written better anywhere else.
