For some reason, I didn’t think that I had enough projects started, so I decided to try some new things.

I was watching a bunch of YouTube videos of different crafts, as I do since I’m a manager for a craft store, and came across some stuff that I thought, hey I could do that…

So, I started playing with making crafts from Dollar Tree items. So far I’ve mostly concentrated on the mini Jenga blocks. So here are a few things that I’ve made so far…

These little planter boxes are cute, I’m just not sure what I will do with them… let me know what you think in the comments 🙂

This Succulent stand was harder than expected. The blocks didn’t seem to want to stay glued… but I think it came out cute…

There is the Succulent stand before I painted it the teal color, but next to it is a little candle stand. It is cute, but not sure if its actually sturdy enough to put tea lights on it, we will see…

This is the first thing that I made with the mini jenga blocks (or tumbling blocks). I am not at all happy with the way it came out. I used hot wood glue and it just left too much gapping. I’m in the process of making another one where I used regular wood glue before I stained the peices. We will see how that one looks…
