SAL #46

It’s that time again! I hope all are doing well and that this craziness is not too bad for you. My company is considered an essential business, so I have still been going to work. I did have a planned vacation from the 16th through the 20th because Sirius got fixed. So, that being said, I did get to spend a little extra time on my project. So, this it where I was… And this is where I’m at now… So I’ve gotten a bit more done… Don’t forget to go check out everyone’s pages to see what they’ve been … Continue reading SAL #46

Where does the time go? Really? So, I actually did put a bit of time into stitching this round. Here is where I was last time… And here is where I am now… There are a couple new colors popping in and it’s been pretty fun. Joann’s had a sale on embroidery floss, and an extra 25% off total purchase, so last night I picked up most of the colors for my next project. It’s from the same magazine, but spans several issues so I had to track down the back issues and order a really big peice of fabric. … Continue reading SAL #45

Three weeks again! Time just keeps flying by. As I write this, Sirius is out at his second grooming session. So looking forward to seeing his dapper little face in a little while. I did get a bit of stitching done, so let’s get right into it…. This is where I was last time… And this is where I’m at now…. So, as you can see, I did get a bit more done. I do like this pattern more than the other one I was working on, so that is a plus! As always, remember to go check out what … Continue reading Sal #43

Diamond Painting Projects #3

Three weeks! Okay, so, I’ve been busy on diamond painting. Lots of stuff to show you guys. So let’s just get to it… This is Free and Wild from Diamond Art Club This is also a DAC, I believe it’s called Autumn Reflections. This is for my dad’s girlfriend for xmas. This little guy is from 5D Artist, I wanted to do this to see how good the canvas and diamonds are. I have 4 more the same size, but much more detailed. Not sure how they will come out. Nuzzling from DiamondDots is for my dad for xmas. And … Continue reading Diamond Painting Projects #3

Diamond Painting Projects #1

Okay, so three weeks ago I shared that I had done my first diamond painting project. Still not sure what I’m going to do with that one, but it’s okay. To remind you, this is what I did… I did enjoy doing this, so I got another, and that turned into getting a lot more. Some of the ones that I’ve ordered, were not the best, as when I first started looking at them, I didn’t know about how the bigger the canvas the better the image. Anywho, I ordered some from Amazon, Painting with Diamonds, Home Craftology, and Diamond … Continue reading Diamond Painting Projects #1

Ouch! That hurt…

I did something that I’ve never done before today, and hopefully won’t be doing again. I cut the side of my finger while cutting fabric with a rotary cutter.  OUCH! Now, I’ve been close a few times and nipped my finger nail, but never my actual finger.  It’s not really as bad as it sounds. Don’t get me wrong, it took a nice chunk out of my finger, but Neosporin and a band-aid is really all I needed. (After a few choice words of course.) Moral of the story? Pay attention when you’re using any cutting device! Even if you’ve … Continue reading Ouch! That hurt…
