SAL #101

Well, it’s been three more weeks, I haven’t put a single stitch in on my project. I’ve been participating in Maynia/Mayhem. I’ve started a new project every day this month so haven’t had much time to work on old ones. I also participated in a smalls exchange for this month and just finished that to get sent out by the first of June. Even though I don’t have anything to share this time, still want to make sure to tag everyone else so that you can checkout what they’ve been working on! Until next time, Happy Stitching! I really just about forgot to post this one. It’s 11:15pm as I’m writing this! Oh well, let’s get right into it. Last time I was here… And this time I am here… The big plant in the middle is getting some foliage. It was a bit annoying to stitch this part because it’s at the page break and I had to keep going back and forth. Well next time maybe I’ll have a bit more to show. Until then, Happy Stitching! And don’t forget to check out everyone’s pages to see what they’ve been up to as well! Avis, … Continue reading SAL #99

Three more weeks, I’ve finished my first class, about a week and 5 days, and am into the 2nd. I’ve been stitching on a lot of small projects (and finishing them) while I work on school work. So I haven’t done a lot of stitching on my big project. I’ve only done a few hours really. But, anyway, here is where I was… And here is where I am now… So a bit more, but not much. Make sure to check everyone’s pages and see what they’ve been up to! Happy Stitching!!! Three weeks go by so fast. I’ve been working on some training for a new job, though still looking for something else I think. Had an interview on Friday that went well, but we will see. I’m not worried about anything right now. I have, however, decided to go back to school. I already have an MA in English with a concentration in fiction writing, so I’m going to be getting my MA in Secondary Education (English) and my teaching certification. It was always my intention to teach, so, that’s what I’m going to work towards. Anyway, I’ve done a … Continue reading SAL #93

Current Cross Stitch Wips

Since I’ve been home a bit more, I’ve had some time to work on some of my cross stitch projects and start some new ones. I even downloaded a new app that lets you create a spinning wheel to help you choose what project to work on. This has been fun, I’ve always been the type to work on a few projects at a time, and I also practice time management as I limit myself on how long I work on each project (you know, unless I’m just really in the groove of it!) Here’s a screenshot of the app … Continue reading Current Cross Stitch Wips

So a lot has happened during the last 3 weeks. I finally got tired of the bs that I was putting up with as work, and quit. Not really my style, but the straw that broke the camel’s back, was when I was reprimanded for taking 1 day off after working 21 days straight. Sure, I was salary, but working 80-90 hours a week for about 6 months and only being paid for 45 of those hours, got old. Appreciation wasn’t even in the vocabulary, so, I decided that my mental, and physical health was more important. I’ve had more … Continue reading Sal #92
