SAL #101

Well, it’s been three more weeks, I haven’t put a single stitch in on my project. I’ve been participating in Maynia/Mayhem. I’ve started a new project every day this month so haven’t had much time to work on old ones. I also participated in a smalls exchange for this month and just finished that to get sent out by the first of June. Even though I don’t have anything to share this time, still want to make sure to tag everyone else so that you can checkout what they’ve been working on! Until next time, Happy Stitching! Avis, Claire, Gun, Christina, Kathy, Margaret,  Heidi, Jackie, Sunny, Megan, Deborah, Sharon, Daisy,  AJ, Cathie, Linda, Helen, Cindy, MaryMargaret … Continue reading SAL #101

SAL #36

Three weeks ago I was able to show off my butterflies finished. They are still hanging out, waiting for me to do something with them. So, on to the next project. Right? Alright, so this is where I am… Not sure it looks like much of anything yet. So this is what it will be…. maybe… I say maybe, because I’m not sure if I want to put the words in. I may just do flowers and books, as that’s what drew me to this pattern in the first place… what do you guys think? As always, make sure to … Continue reading SAL #36

SAL Update #10

So, just finishing up my first week of my new job. And so far, it is totally kicking my butt. So I haven’t had too much time to work on much. What I have gotten done, was before my new job started. So this is what I’ve done… Maybe by the next time I’ll have the other pillowcase done 😉 We have a new member in our SAL group this time, so make sure to go check out everyone else in the group and see where they are on their projects! Until next time…. Avis, Claire, Gun, Carole, LucyAnn, Kate, … Continue reading SAL Update #10

Using the stash…

I’ve kind of been on a misson to use up some of my stash of fabric. I have plenty to choose from, that is for certain. As it is with most people who do any kind of crafts, one always has more than they actually need.  So, with this thought in mind, I have decided to dive in to my stash, and actually use some of it (novel idea, believe me, I know). First, I made, A Little Something.  Then I made a Christmas quilt. This time I decided to use a couple packs of charms that have been sitting … Continue reading Using the stash…

SAL #2…

Three weeks ago I posted my first offering for the SAL group ( stitch along) that I joined. Well, the time has come around again to share the progress.  First let me remind you where I was last time… Remeber? Ok, so I was still debating how I wanted to change the original pattern. Well, this is what I came up with… As you can see, I changed it a bit. It is also almost done. I just have to finish up the backstitching. (Which is my least favorite thing to do. Just sayin’) So as a reminder this was … Continue reading SAL #2…

First SAL posting…

So, last month, I decided to join a SAL group (Stitch Along) of cross stitchers. I did so thinking that it would be a great way for me to push myself to work on, and hopefully finish some projects. I tend to float from one thing to the next when I’m not working on an actual order. Those always come first. Anyway, after I finished my Fairy, I decided to do something small that I could finish quickly. Not sure how quickly I’m finishing it, but since I’m also working on A Little Something…. I don’t think it’s going too … Continue reading First SAL posting…
