Why does three weeks go by so fast?? I do not have much to show. A lot of the time my project was sitting at my dad’s house and I was not. So anyway, this is where I was… And this is where I am now… Super hard to see the very subtle shading, but there is a lighter green/grey rose pattern forming in there. I think I’ve decided to put some of my favorite authors’ names on the books, but stitch them in after with a backstitch. I’m sure everyone else has more to show than me, I’ve been … Continue reading SAL #38

Three weeks ago I was able to show off my butterflies finished. They are still hanging out, waiting for me to do something with them. So, on to the next project. Right? Alright, so this is where I am… Not sure it looks like much of anything yet. So this is what it will be…. maybe… I say maybe, because I’m not sure if I want to put the words in. I may just do flowers and books, as that’s what drew me to this pattern in the first place… what do you guys think? As always, make sure to … Continue reading SAL #36

Another 3 weeks. And another vacation. It was more of a staycation this time, however since I’m always on the road, it was kind of nice to be in one place for awhile. (No, I still don’t have a place, I stayed with family.) So, I must have gotten really far on my butterflies right? Haha, not really. I did a little bit, but barely enough to show. I did however, finish a quilt top that has taken me almost 2 years going from hotel to hotel. So, anyway, this is where I was last time… And this is where … Continue reading SAL #34

Hi everyone! I hope everyone made it through the polar vortex okay! I drove to 4 different stores in 4 days last week (during that -30 + weather) and I’m happy to say that my SUV started every time! This week I have 5 stores in 5 days, the most distance I have to drive between is around 200 miles, so not too bad. Anyway! It’s been 3 weeks again already; man time just flies by doesn’t it? So, last time I was here… And now I’m here… I finished off all the butterflies, since there were a few that … Continue reading SAL #27

So, unfortunately, I have no progress to show this time. It has been an extremely busy few weeks. Routinely driving through 4 states gets tiring. However, as of last week, I am at my new “home” for the next 4 months. At least my king size suite is a decent size! Hello Michigan! Here is a reminder of where I am with my butterflies and hopefully next time I check in, I’ll have something to show! Don’t forget to stop by and see what the other members of the group are working on! Happy Stitching! Avis, Claire, Gun, Carole, LucyAnn, … Continue reading SAL #21

SAL Update #14

Hello all! What a beautiful day it is today! Sun is shinning and its 76 degrees! I’ve been spending some time in the office the last week or so, so I’ve been home more than normal. Last time this is where I was with my butterflies… And since I’ve had a little bit more time, here I am now… I really like the pale sage color that accents the gold background nicely. I’ll be in the office for the next week or so, so we will see how much I get done before I hit the road again! Thanks for … Continue reading SAL Update #14

Wow, three weeks really flew by! It’s that time again for an update on where I’m at with stitching. I can say that I really haven’t had time for much of anything outside of work. I did pick up a kit that is pretty, but not super complicated, so we will see how this goes! Here is where I’m at so far… Don’t forget to check out everyone else in the group!
